What goes on the bench
Each part of your car's electrical circuit, as Sr. Bino draws it — and what a customer said about it.
Starter motors
Car won't turn over, clicks, or the starter grinds. We open it, replace brushes, bushes or the bendix, and test it on the bench before it goes back in.
Alternators
Battery light on, battery going flat, dim lights at idle. Regulator, diodes, bearings and brushes — repaired whenever the alternator can be saved.
Electrical fault diagnosis
Warning lights, things that switch off on their own, a drain that empties the battery overnight. We trace the fault back to where it starts.
Headlights and lighting
Headlights, indicators, brake lights, a bulb that keeps blowing. Wiring and connectors checked, not just the bulb changed.
Battery and charging
Battery, charging and earth checked together, so you know whether it's the battery, the alternator or something draining it.
Wiring and classics
Damaged wiring, window motors, older and classic cars with original electrics. Old-school knowledge for cars that need it.
Repaired, not swapped
A starter motor has five things that wear. Usually only one is gone.
Most garages replace the whole unit. On Sr. Bino's bench it gets opened, measured and only the worn part changes. That's why the price stays fair — and why parts are always on the shelf.

Sr. Bino
Albino José Periquito — Sr. Bino to everyone in Almada — has been fixing cars' electrics in this praceta for more than thirty years. Some customers have never taken their car anywhere else.
He's known for the faults other workshops sent away: the starter nobody could fix, the drain that emptied the battery, the classic with original wiring. Filipe works alongside him.
The shop is not a showroom. A customer put it plainly: it doesn't look like much — but the technical quality and the readiness to help make it the best around. That's the deal here.

Excellent service, availability and a lot of knowledge of what he's doing (which is rarer and rarer). Without a doubt the best auto electrician in Almada. I recommend it!
I was in a bind, couldn't find anyone to fix my car in time, and here it was fixed the same day for a fair price.
It is the best expert technician in town. Years of experience with a lot of parts available in his store. I highly recommend it to car owners who have complex issues relating to electric and headlight issues.
I've never wanted to know another. And I don't know another mechanic/electrician who knows as much as this man... Always available and friendly... Doesn't charge a fortune... The car never goes without a solution.
I called at the end of the day and he offered to get me out of trouble with the starter motor repair. Excellent service. Thank you very much Sr. Albino.
An excellent auto-electrical workshop. Sr. Albino's friendliness and efficiency make me recommend it — fair prices, and for more than 30 years he has solved problems for me that the brand garages often could hardly solve.

Questions
Repair first. Most starters and alternators can be rebuilt on the bench — brushes, bushes, bendix, regulator. A unit is only replaced when it's past saving.
